Marseille can be easily reached by air, train, bus and sea.

Marseille airport which is located 27 km northwest of Marseille is connected directly to several towns in Europe and North Africa, including low-cost flights and operates various flights per day to Paris airports. A bus shuttle which leaves approximatively every 15 minutes allows to join the airport to Marseille central train station in about 25 min. A return ticket cost around 16 €.

Marseille can be also reached by direct trains and buses from several European towns which all arrive at “Gare Saint Charles” which is Marseille central train & bus station and is located at a walking distance from the old harbor, the heart of the town. Gare Saint Charles is also served by the two lines of Marseille subway with several connections to the surface public local transportation system (RTM-only in French ; Moovitapp)

Ferries also connect directly Marseille to Algeria and Tunisia several times per week.
