ESPR Springer journal special issue

The International journal « Environmental Science and Pollution Research » (ESPR, https://www.springer.com/journal/11356) with an IF-2022 of 5.8 has accepted to publish a special issue entitled « Advances in Environmental Biotechnology and Engineering » dedicated to the works presented during 7ISEBE as it already did for the 3 past issues of ISEBEs (see below and https://abiaer.com/publicaciones/).

All authors of oral or poster presentations at 7ISEBE are welcome to submit their manuscript to the special issue. The submission will be exclusively online.

The submission platform can be directly accessed through the following link https://www.editorialmanager.com/espr/default2.aspx and will be opened for the special issue between June 30 and November 20, 2023. Passed this date your manuscript will be channelled to a regular issue of the journal.

If you still not have an account on the platform, you will have to create one by clicking on the « Register » menu. Alternatively, you can access to the platform with your ORCID ID.

You will have to Login as an author.

Once your are Logged on, you will have to select « submit new manuscript ».

The submission process will consist of 5 steps;

1. Article type selection

2. Attach file. At this stage you will have to upload the file of your manuscript.

3. Review preferences. At this stage, you will be requested to provide the name and contact details of 3 potential reviewers. You may also oppose reviewers.

4. Additional information. At this stage, the system will ask you if you are submitting to a special issue. It is here that after answering « yes », you will have to select « 7ISEBE » in the list that will open. If you do not answer yes and select an issue, your work will be considered as submitted to a normal issue of the journal.

5. Comments. At this stage the authors may indicate additional comments that will be sent to the publication office but will not appear directly on the submission.

6. Manuscript data. At this stage, several windows corresponding to the abstract, keywords, authors and funding information will have to be filled. The system may have already filled them automatically directly from the uploaded file.

Once you have reached stage 6, you may save your submission and finalize it later. You may also built the pdf that will be sent to the reviewers for your approval and finalize your submission.

We remind you that the evaluation process will be managed independently from the Guest Editors by the editorial board of ESPR and that the rate of rejection is close to 70%.

We then, advise you to prepare your manuscripts with care and to follow the instructions for authors as close as possible (see https://www.springer.com/journal/11356/submission-guidelines).
